Grand Etang starting from Hope Vale on south side of Grenada - to get to start of Grand Etang climb means getting up to Laborie and then descend to Tempe via Mt Helicon roundabout. Grand Etang climb always hard with gradients last mile or two up to 20% in places and steady 13% +. Descending is fun, but then don't forget steep 700 ft climb back to Laborie Junction. Ascent total around 3,000ft.
